>>55427623Unironically yes, these games were comfortable. Hell even the spin offs were respectable. I loved and still love gen 6. The 3DS era was fine, loved megas, loved the PSS, loved that gamefreak still did a lot and even let us play with our favorite mons back then. Gen 6 is fucking beautiful and even had a lot of quality of life changes and the exp share was unironically a blessing. Because let's be honest, the 3DS era wasn't bad, it was a lot of fun, and people are only shitting on it now because it's popular to. I saw nothing but online enjoyment, and the fanbase unironically peaked back then because at least I can have a form of discussion and make new friends without autistically arguing.
Gen 8 on the other hand single handedly killed any and all enjoyment and discussion of this franchise and the only discussions you can actually have anymore is about how the franchise has gone down hill, new to old gen comparisons, and hopes and dreams that never come true. Unironically take me back. I miss the days where people made chill fan projects, did chill online play, and jerked off to cute cringey gardevoir animatics.
