is there anything like this in scarlet violet hinting at the next gen? just curious, i remember x and y also had the tiki item hinting at alola

If there is any we won't realize until gen 10 is announced because it can be literally ANYTHING.

This is the most random wallpaper and hindsight is 20/20, in 2019 it wouldn't have meant anything either. I can believe this was a subtle hint but we wouldn't have any way to realize. Asking this before the fact is a waste of time.

There are Teal Mask hints in base SV, however.

Literally one of the most interesting options due to the huge amount of unique flora and fauna it has as well as dramatic, varying landscapes. We already had one of most boring inspirations used up already in Galar anyway.

They switch it up, SV's hint was the Violet Book they added to Cogita's room in Legends, the hint to Galar was a map of the British Isles in LGPE. I'd wager we won't get our hint to Gen 10 until the last game of this Generation, whether it's this year and they take a gap year or next and they release two the next two Novembers though, I don't know yet.

A Chinese region is obviously out of the cards when considering new regions so Chinese-inspired pokemon can appear anywhere, like the panda in France and the literal legendary quartet with Chinese names in Spain

Apparently the hint for gen 9 was a one time wallpaper off to the side in a throwaway location. We don't know what to look for.

Sometimes it's more blatant than others. The Strange Souvenir basically screamed in your face that it was a hint toward the next generation. The map of Britain in LGPE was also something people caught right away.
