>>55448124To be fair, sprite rips did take a lot more effort back in the day. That sheet was probably made right after the game came out. A lot of people I know who ripped had to capture each frame individually using an emu, which is a bitch and yeah if I put that much effort into something like that I would definitely expect credit for the work. Plus the community was MUCH smaller so if you used Meteor Falls in a webcomic/sprite project it's kind of obvious that you got it from the one guy who ripped Meteor Falls. Nowadays with better ripping technology and how big the internet is nobody gives a fuck
