This is what all of the routes are like where 90% of the Pokemon of very new route is literally copy pasted from the previous route with barely any introduction of new Pokemon

Route 2:

Rinse and repeat through the whole game. It generally feels like the regional dex is only like 30 Pokemon. You do not see this shit in any other gen

Kakuna
Notice how there is a plethora of new Pokemon added. Absolutely terrible game design. I'm past route 16 in Ultra Sun and I am still getting Pokemon found from routes like 4 and 5.
