>>55453043Mario is the very definition of resting on your laurels as a game developer. They've repackaged Mario 64 at least 5 times, and NSMB at least 10. Pokemon should strive to be better than that. It isn't as simplistic as Mario, it has real lore and a real universe, yet it limits itself to the same tired formula, and whenever they feel like they're running out of money, they just bring out shit from when the series used to be worth a damn. It's depressing, and this series needs to get bought out by a developer that knows what they're doing, preferably the Borderlands devs.
