My two cents:
Cheren = Serperior(Cheren is the aloof strategist guy, so he gets the speedy starter that relies on status moves)
Biancia = Emboar(Biancia is the least interested in battling, so she gets the unga bunga power-focused starter so little strategy is needed)
MC = Samurott(The all-rounder/middleman of the three)
