Like why are their colors so washed out? Why do they have so many tiny details that make the designs nearly unreadable at a glance? Why do none of them have any contrast?
I feel like back when they had sprites and low res models they had to come up with cool simple designs, but now that they have no limitations we get this garbage instead.
