>>55464551I feel like Lyssander's ideology and some of the plot threads of XY were supposed to vaguely allude to the fact France was being flooded with niggers and Muslims and turning into a complete shithole, Lyssander is meant to be a poor parody of le Jewish boogeyman aka uncle Adolf, you're supposed to hate him in Gayfreak's eyes because he's a White man who's taking drastic measures to do what he thinks is right to solve a resource crisis and ridding Kalos and the world of those he sees as lesser. It's all very infatilized and it doesn't bring up "racism", but it could be that's what they were going for, I mean, Masuda did make that one infamous statement about what he wanted for gen 5 and "muh multiculturalism" and with how rampant wokeshit was getting when this game came out, it makes sense if you read between the lines, but it's a stretch.
