>All the hints to both Johto and Unova in SV has made it very unclear whether we're getting one remake, both, or an ILCA game and a Legends game, or something else.
Only if you're a spastic who can't understand they have both a release roadmap AND an invested interest in spacing their remakes out to ensure the greatest income take possible. 'Course Legends fucked ye up. You think the backdoor remake means they're suddenly dropping all before to pivot when it's a point of data in a field of data points which do not correlated to it. Next up is Johto and most likely scenario is in the style of the re-revisit to Kanto they released in 2018 (because they established they're going to revisit games that have already gotten remade in series lifespan while also establishing the re-revisits will not play akin to regular pair release mechanics) with Gen 5's remake no sooner than 2028 (because 2026 is Gen 10 and 2027 will be DLC for Gen 10).
They spent almost 30 years marketing this thing, they know what they're up to, where they wanna go and how they wanna get there. And Johtofags are ripe for nostalgiabaiting, the unovatards still need a few years maturation in the cellar.
