>>55467771>New system isn't getting delayedIt is. Many reputable industry sources have been stating it was due to a software issue. Plus it's a Q1 2025, which is still within Nintendo's FY2025.
Also what foxconn souce are you referring to? This one? Because that wasn't directly from Foxconn, and they predicted a Q1 2024 launch lol:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-02-03/nintendo-cuts-switch-outlook-again-on-supply-logistics-jam>They're not missing their deadline (because they'd have organized their in-house teams to being work on stuff to cover thatOkay? Game development becomes more and more complex. Plus, they may have management issues. Just because you have organized in house teams, that doesn't mean software development will be smooth sailing per say. However, it will be more organized than the Wii U/3ds era.
> no 1st party titles after Peach this yearYeah right? Just like how there were no First party titles to release after Pikmin 4 in July 2023? Because that's exactly what people said before the June 2023 direct that showed Mario Wonder, Mario RPG, and more. Nintendo has been doing more shorter marketing cycles for their titles, post 2020 era. Wait until the next direct this April (as some sources are touting), before making that assumption. We still have more 1st party games to cover that will fill up the rest of the year, such as Donkey Kong, Fire Emblem remake, and even more remasters for the Switch. They can easily fill up the year. Also, a console this late into the life cycle will obviously have a decrease in sales. It's natural, and not much you can do. But their next FY (April 2024-March 2025), will still include sales of the Switch 2.
