>Character redesignsThey were a mixed bag but mostly good other than May's redesign which totally replaces her sports inspired outfit, yet for some reason they kept a sports inspired outfit for Brendan which was really weird. But I've never really cared for character redesigns in general so it's not a plus to me, it just kind of exists.
>MegasI strongly dislike megas functionally and I think they're flawed. I also dislike how they rewrote the story around mega evolution and infinity energy, yet it's still close enough to RSE. It's in an uncanny valley for me. Worst of both worlds.
>New areasI didn't mind the Mauville revamp although it was annoying to navigate. But this is the sort of thing that BDSP also technically did like with the Distortion Room, Grand Underground, Ramanas etc...
I hate BDSP too but I'm tired of people pretend ORAS is some underrated gem when people have valid reasons to dislike it
