yeah it was really cool how they rushed the game and couldn’t even put basic features like berry farming in so they dumped it into a cheap flash game instead

Simple. They're not using it from Dream World anymore, they're calling it "corporate artwork" and it's the art you see on various merch and stuff.
They've been reworked from "spin-off art" to "BUY OUR MERCH" art.

I really liked it but progress was tied to your cartridge so you would have to regain points for your black 2 white 2 save instead of carrying over progress.
