I don't know how to explain it, it's like they managed to be both washed out AND garish simultaneously.
Their monster designs are already pretty bad to begin with (that blue platypus is the best they have and that's not saying much), but that in-game color filter make absolutely everything look like dog shit.
I could be down for a not!pokémon brotato, but looking at the screenshots on steam is so painful on the eyes...
Is some SJW "optimized to work for every single type of color deficiency" nonsense or their art director genuinely think this doesn't look atrocious?
