Because Legends was the first game the series had since B2W2 that was widely considered good. The fact that Legends Arceus wasn't a one-off (while Let's Go still is, at least for now) is a very good sign.

I am a bit curious about how it will play. Gen 6 is the only generation that I've never touched, I am glad I get the chance to visit Kalos, but at the same time... Only one city, and game releases during the Switch's final year? I'm scared of it being a Let's GO Pikachu/Eevee shitfest.
However, I doubt they'll fuck up that much.
