That said an all-urban pokemon game has potential if they actually flesh things out. Lumiose city is massive with plenty of back alleys, canals and if it's full 3D there's a bunch of rooftops. It's even based on Paris so they could add in some haunted catacombs if they wanted. Lots of pokemon explicitly live in urban environments but are rarely caught there.
I'm not sure why some people are upset over the Legends game being Kalos instead of Johto or Unova though. Kalos got utterly shafted with a lack of a 3rd game, and its awkward place as the start of proper 3D means it always felt lacking.
It may still end up being bad, but given the last Legends game wasn't afraid to try new things I am at least curious as to what it'll actually end up being.
