I hope they keep the battle system from Legends as I like how multiple Pokemon can attack you at once and how low levels can deal damage to higher leveled Pokemon, but I hope they revamp the styles if they keep them so they're less braindead as well as add abilities back
I also hope they add more combo moves as well as field effect moves. So if you use EQ or magnitude, you shatter the ground and it stays like that during and after battle until you load into the next area.
I hope they also add like a beam clash mechanic for the AI. Say you have a fire type out vs a water type. If you select Flamethrower on your turn, the AI can choose to counter with Hydro Pump before the move hits which will overpower your attack and deal damage to you on your own turn.
