Cool designs that pseuds freak out over, because anything other than what they grew up with and/or are already used to makes them uncontrollably sperg online. Megas were in XY, ORAS, SM, USUM, LGPLGE, Go, Shuffle, Masters EX, Picross, Rumble World, Rescue Team DX, SMD (Super Mystery Dungeon), Pokkén, and the most recent Smash bros. They never stopped using them and won't stop now. The only reason there are new gimmicks is to keep the masses from getting bored. Even though really they're all the same gimmick
