Why do people seem to have nostalgia for XY despite said people generally agreeing the characters are forgettable, the plot is lackluster coming off of Gen V, megas are divisive, lowest amount of new Pokemon introduced, and Kalos as a region lacks identity and struggles to stand on its own compared to other regions? I was looking around for reactions from normies and there seems to be a consensus that the games themselves are bad, but that it has a place in their heart. I don't think it's a "so bad it's good" thing. Are we just in the right time for the people who grew up with Gen VI to be the target audience for Z-A?
