on the other hand, i think i would still be an autistic shut in weirdo in spite of that. in fact, i'd probably be even more of a shut in without pokemon. the only poeple i ever talked to back when i was in middle school and high school were people who had familiarity with pokemon and i never kept in touch with any of them after i graduated
