>>55513808A lot of these are hard to tell because they are rather normal things considering what Pokémon is influenced by to begin with or are a natural extension of ideas that have always been there, but recycling ideas that couldn't be used earlier is something that has been confirmed official and shown later either explicitly or implicitly (an example was Sword and Shield originally going to be a game with a medieval flavor, and you then get a game set in historical time later, although not nearly as far back). In any case, going by what they established in final release and future ones, I wouldn't be surprised if the ultimate weapon ends up tied to aliens somehow in Z-A, even if the specifics aren't the same.
