Over the course of this year, you will slowly start to see the Kalos fans claiming that Gen 6 is the real 'peak of the series'. Come 2025, they will become the most annoying contingent of the fanbase, just like the Unova fans before them.
Meanwhile BW and BW2 have taken an enormous blow to their credibility due to being skipped over for a Legends game. I've never seen a downfall quite like this.
The cycle continues. Come 2027, SuMo will be considered the peak, and everyone will hate XY again. There will come a day that the fanbase considers SwSh to be the peak, and so on. There is no end to this.
