>>55523328To play Devil's Advocate, Go has been releasing stuff incrementally so it can keep drip-feeding for as long as possible - we're still getting the last remaining Alolan pokemon (UBs and Necrozma coming soon, but still many big mons like Mimikyu are being witheld for future events) and beyond Alola they've only thrown out a few random mons for the sake of "exciting" new events, like the picrel Galarian mons + Zacian and Zamazenta, and the Paldea starters + early-route shitters.
IMO, Galar's lack of inclusion doesn't represent it being unsupported, it's just that Niantic is really slowing their releases to a crawl so they don't run out of new pokemon to dangle in front of you for random events.
