>>55534480The idea of Platinum, HGSS, BW2 being the holy trinity never stops amusing me. Every other game in the series stands on their own and has identifiable features and characteristics that make them stand out, whether you like or dislike those features. The DS games are not bad but for years people just yell that they are good and that has become their main characteristics. The games add nothing significant to the series and are the most formulaic, so their fans have to overcompensate. I play the DS games and I don't hate them but DSfags really overrate the games. They're fine, just like every other Pokemon game.
