I've been playing since IG pokemania in the late 90's and this was one of my favorite moments in any of the games.

Pokelore really peaked with the creation trio.

Also they should have stopped making new mons after gen 4 and just developed the gameplay while only introducing new regional variants in the newer games

It's not that giritina is particularly powerful, but the cinematic presentation of it and the fact that it means he has Cynthia's team + effectively two legendaries is a nice trick

I didn't win the first time, but after knowing what the fight was, I came back with better Pokémon and it was very easy. I don't get how people got stuck here for over an hour.

I beat him the first time but I dropped 4 mons because of how the turn order works(you are guranteed to get hit basically so you cant unga bunga by OHKOing everything)

I brought a bunch of Pokémon that I wanted to level up, so I only made it to Giratina's first stage, and by then my Goodra was 1 or 2 hits and my second attack did not land.

Probably my favourite final battle. Legends team has my full support with how they went far beyond presentation and cinematography of other Switch Pokemon games. It finally felt like a modern game

This is also probably my favorite moment in the entire series, and I'm not even a gen 4 fag or anything.
One of my fondest memories will always be playing this at 3am with 2 of my friends watching, and one of them commenting "damn they didn't remix Giratina's theme, kind of a missed opportunity" and then the transformation happened and we just went fucking apeshit.

BASED. Ending the dex with the gods of the series always made sense, and it has the perfect amount of mons with a lot of evos added to previous mons to update them. That's the only thing I'd "suggest" they'd do, is give more mons evos like dunsparce. Gen 4 even managed to make the final boss Red again, if HGSS were the final games then it'd be a fine conclusion.
I like Gen 5, mostly because B2W2 was better than DPPt and HGSS just with the distributions. Though of the hacks I've played, Gen 4 had the most fun re-balancing ones and Renegade Platinum was great.
