Gyarados and Dragonair do not have this, at all. Outside of the gneeral body shape and colour every other design element is completely different. Dragonite retains the eye shape, head shape, horn, two-tone colourscheme, and smooth body as seen on Dragonair clearly showing it was designed as a Dragonair evo, while Gyarados has none of these qualities. What Gyarados does have is Magikarp's fins, lips, whiskers, and segmented body shape. They were very clearly also designed together. Unless you're a literal drooling retard who thinks colour is the only relevant design element Gyarados looks way more like Magikarp than Dragonair and Dragonite looks way more like Dragonite than Magikarp.
