I hope that in Pokémon Legends Z-A they retroactively change the lore that only final stages of Pokémon can mega evolve. I understand that mega evolution is there to help Pokemon reach their full potential and that a Pokemon that isn't fully evolved will become stronger through normal evolution, but this creates problems in that Pokemon like Mawile can never evolve unless through a regional form. I think Gigamax is better because every Pokémon can get this form. How fun would something like Mega Magikarp be. What do you think?
