However Game Freak didn’t make Typhlosion hateable enough considering Typhlosion has a weirdly large or at least consistent fanbase despite how it never shows up anywhere, is a “shitmon”, literally just Cyndaquil but bigger. And even out if the johto starters, Feraligatr is arguable better in a playthrough, and actually allowed to not be a shitmon but Typhlosion is much more popular than it.
It even more ridiculous if a recent poll is too be believe the original Typhosion is more popular then the new and improved Hisuian form that was almost certainly designed to replace it.
