Why are ice type gym leaders always the seventh or eight gym leader?
Ice type is not bad but its one of the weaker types, if anything, it would be better if an ice type gym leader was the first or second gym leader.
Lorelei and Glacia are not gym leaders but they are elite four trainers and you fight them torwards the end of the game.
Pryce and Candice are the seventh gym leader in there respective games. Wulffric and Grusha are the eighth gym leader in there respective games. And even though Melony is the sixth gym leader in her game which is sooner than the others, it's still quite late into the game.
