I recently played this one, and I must say that it is of a very surprising quality for a fangame. Any other similar fangames to recommend? I know the same author has worked on other projects.

You should try BW2. It’s a romhack of BW. The lazy dialogue and map reuse is pretty noticeable and there’s a bizarre amount of stupid tutorials and roadblocks forced in but it’s pretty decent for a fan made hack
