Playing through the DLC now because I heard indigo disk is pretty fun and for all the flaws of this game, it is so far to be fair

Honestly, I enjoyed the game and DLC despite all the faults it has, but It's never really been worth getting into internet slap fights over. They'll be complaining about PLZA when it doesn't measure up to their headcanons/predictions, and I'll probably be enjoying it for just giving me something new to do, and the same will happen with any other new Pokémon game that doesn't have every great thing that gen 1/gen 2/gen whatever had.

Personally I don’t even mind gens 6 and 7, but I’m not trying to turn this into a genwar thread. Just saying game freak is absolutely retarded for fucking up hitmontop, I’ve seen miscolored models but not deformed

If you want an actual answer, it's because Hitmontop's legs and tail extend when active. For whatever reason they decided to make its legs even more retracted when idle, but in battle it's legs are back to normal and extend even further along with its tail when attacking like its artwork. I guess it's tail is suppose to be like the string of a spinning top.

And if you had at least 2 functioning brain cells, this would have told you the model has the fulls legs, since the Pokédex uses the models from the game.

Even the anime always had Hitmontop with the weirdly shortened legs.
