>>55563781I restart the game. Hoping the next round will be better. It is getting late and I want to be having a healthy morning so I decided to work my way to the first gym and close off from there.
I decided to do 1 gym per day with the exception of the Team Aqua and Primal Kyogre scenario, that deserves a day dedicated to its own.
I restart, name myself Mandarin as Orange as of right now is the only color NOT picked for a mainline main character.
I check my ID and I am surprised it is 5 meaning I can be both Mandarin and name my (hopefully) soon to be Blaziken General Tsao.
I catch a zigzagoon as my first catch who I name Sly Cooper with a careful nature and on the next route I catch a Poochyena with the Rash nature who I named Shenzi from the Lion King. They are practically twins, opposite yet identical natures and same level when cauight: 2.
I catch a cascoon who I name Viceroy in memory of Monarch the Beautifly and a Wingull I named Pepi Pelicab with an adamant nature.
I reach the first gym with no casualties and select from my team Wingull and Torchic.
Wingull is fast and with water gun he is able to one shot the Geodudes.
I was lucky and confident with this team. I loved each member and thought they all had a complimentary and or pragmatic aspect to them.
However when I reached Roxanne my slightly damaged wingull got one shotted by her Geodude after it survived the water gun through sturdy. One Roch Throw and my Pelican was dead.
Torchic was up next and my Torchic FYI had a modest. I used ember three times on Geodude as he was healed by a potion.
When Torchic defeated the Rock then came out the nect challenge: The Nosepass.
I tried my luck at using ember to get this over with as soon as possible as I was already tired from the last game and when after 2 turns of embering I switched to Sand Attack in hopes to survive her offensive moves as it had only tackled and mud sported me once.
However a second tackle defeated my Chicken and I lost once more.
