Here are some ways that you and other people can help the board in order of importance:
>make threads people want to participate in
This can include literally playing the games online with people anywhere from gens 4 to 9. You will likely have more success the more frequently you post common threads (ex: Triple Battle threads, gen 4 and 5 trading threads, HOME trade room threads, etc)
>include good quality OPs and images to boot
Self-explanatory.
>report people that derail threads en masse
Genwarring and instigating flamewars are bannable offenses, but you need to make sure that the posts in which people do these is actually derailing threads. Threads that you make for the discussion of multiplayer and playing with other people do not need critiques/bashing of the generation and fit multiple banning criteria. If mods and janitors cannot keep up with the amount of reports, new janitor applications will likely open.

Report and move on, do not engage. We all know that basically every gen has noticeable flaws.

Stop inviting low quality posts yourself.
This post will require multiple people that want to make the board better to actually follow through. A board is as only good as its worst posters (tripfags, newfags, even lurkers contribute to post quality by forgoing valid reports). Thank you very much, I am done being a massive fucking faggot.
