et's try this again. I am the only one who gave up on Pokémon games because the both the special and electric tale manga were much better?
Both manga were thrilling tales in my 11 year old mind, much more interesting than any of the games at the time

A huge improvement from r/b, but still not the best. It didn't encapsulate the adventure.

Both manga encapsulated an interesting adventure, there was no need for headcannon rumors,etc. It was all there plain and simple. Instead of being disappointed by the games over and over again I turned to other Jrpgs with stories and gameplay more similar to the manga such as Legend of Mana, Arc the Lad and BOF. Some of them even had monster capturing/raising that was far superior to Pokémon's.
The only games that truly captured the adventurous spirit of the manga were the mystery dungeon titles
