I'd also say Electric, but both your Serperior and Cinderace eluded to that typing, so I'm not sure.
Right pic is a penguin on rocks, so Ground or Rock type then? Doesn't match the deep blue color though.
Hmm... so:
Serperior would be either Grass/Electric or Grass/Steel
Cinderace would be either Fire/Electric, Fire/Psychic, or Fire/Fairy
Empoleon would be either Water/Electric, Water/Rock, or Water/Ground
Grass/Steel, Fire/Fairy, and Water/Electric all sound like pretty dope combos for starters.
