People like to berate Aurorus and use it as an example on what an ice type Pokemon shouldn't be (muh weak to everything Leddit meme) but Hisuian Avalugg should be the prime example instead. At least Aurorus CAN provide team support with Snow Warning & Aurora Veil while having 100% accurate Blizzards in Snow and not be OHKO'd by a neutral special move, meanwhile Hisuian Avalugg has a wasted ability with Strong Jaw with the only move that can take advantage of with it being Ice Fang.

too be fair, Rock/Ground is pretty good in gen 1 because it makes Rhydon the best Zapdos counter in the game
Rock/Steel still resists a lot of shit with only a few weaknesses like most Steel types, i don't think it's anywhere close to as bad as other examples ITT
