When people in the comments pointed out most of the Pokemon appeared on character teams in Gen 2 so it you'd have to be not paying attention or didn't play the games to miss them, the people defending the video just bitched and said that it didn't count and they don't pay attention to team members. The video talked about Slugma(Blaine has Macargo), Houndour(Multiple important trainers have the line in Johto), Misdreavus(I'll give them that since no one used it and it's only available at the very end of the game), Skarm(I'll give them that since you can skip the route), Murkrow(Multiple trainers use it and it's important in the story). I swear, the Gen 2 hate is the most manufactured thing in this show fanbase. A bunch of people who didn't play the games following what other people who didn't play the games said.
