Gogoat gets a Mega that refers to Wyrdeer. I wonder if the use of Kleavor and Wyrdeer are comparisons to the Mega's role in Z-A?
Like Mega Gogoat is the rideable Pokemon, whereas Mega Mightyena is a boss battle?
The X and Y makes me wonder if there's different factions tied to them. Like the Diamond and Pearl clans.
Maybe the X clan are protecting or helping Mega Gogoat, whereas the Y clan want to weaponize Mega Mightyena?
But that plays into the odd idea I had of some Pokemon being 'stuck' in Mega forms (For narrative purposes)
