>>55644092After looking through the towns and what the gym was in Blue Forest ,it seemed the ghost gym was in Blue Forest (the snowy area) due to the tombstones, which would make sense for a shrine maiden to be here since I usually associate them with snowy mountains because of Hazakura temple in Ace Attorney.
Though what's weird is that Morty's beta Japanese name seems to imply he was also going to be a ghost specialist as well. There was also a town called New Type, so maybe a steel or dark gym was going to be there, but that town and it's leader seemed to be a beta for Mahagony town and Pryce.
Also it seemed none of the characters changed type specialties, Falkner, Bugsy, Whitney, Morty, and the rough draft for Clair all kept their final types for sure.
If I had to make a guess, beta Jasmine was designed before beta Morty and she was originally going to be the ghost gym in Blue Forest, while Okera (the beta for Pryce), was going to be the steel or dark gym. To add on to this, I skimmed through a video that said New Town might've been reworked into Canalave, a place with a steel gym
Though for some reason, they decided they wanted to make a male ghost specialist instead because Agatha already existed (though both Chuck and Bruno being Male contradicts this), so they redesigned Jasmine to be steel for some reason, while scrapping Okera and making Pryce ice instead, and then they made beta Morty for Ghost. Which would explain why Jasmine isn't able to be battled in the demo since they already scrapped her beta design for something else, with her trainer sprite and the female overworld sprite in the Blue Forest gym being leftovers
