what a waste.
I also hate how they cut Ghetsis down to 5 pokemon and gave him a box legendary to match the others. they should've kept his full original team.

They explained in an interview that the entire Rainbow Rocket episode was slapped together pretty late in production. Basically, what happened was that the Team Leaders were going to be new Battle Tree partners, so they had models made for all of them. Then someone went "are we really going to bring back the main antagonist from every game and waste them on THIS?" So they very hastily slapped together the Rainbow Rocket episode. It's why it has so few new assets and not much of a story.
