The fact that S/V lacks any kind of battle facility as a post-game is alarming and doesn't get talked about enough. I can excuse the Battle Frontier not being a thing, but why did they take out the Battle Tower as well?

GF realized almost no one plays battle facilities and has been slowly neutering them since gen 5 removed the BF and replaced it with the nostalgia pandering tournament.

I know this is hard to understand, but casual fans don't play them. I didn't play them. People play pokemon games for the adventure and exploration, not for the gauntlets.

That said the adventure is bad too in S/V.

It may be true that most people don't bother with battle facilities, but it just seems retarded that the game that doesn't have any is also the game where it's super easy to get the exact abilities, natures, and IVs you want. What's the point?

It's definitely more popular than battle towers.
Multiplayer is something that has existed at the core of pokemon since day one, it's half the reason this franchise became what it is.

The lack of any facilities in SV's post game is so sweet, so succulent. Having to go through years of people saying "the other facilities don't matter!" for years only to finally have the brainteasers battle tower taken away and those same people say "wtf the post game is so empty!" is delicious. They got their just desserts. They know what I've been feeling since gen 6, and they deserve it.

Gen 5 offered different post game options to keep me preoccupied, so I didn't mind the lack of facilities when BW2 came out. BW replacing contests with those homosexual musicals was a sin though, and they never bothered giving us side quests content like that since then.

Raids get real stale after a while, and they glitch up a lot. Gamefresk has also treated all the challenging ones like limited mystery gifts which suck balls.

I need nintendo online for online battling, one day when the Switch servers go down SV will have nothing meaningful.

This is also a problem. The games could benefit from a less steep progression and more meaningful decisions to be made in and around pve battles rather than just in team building.
