>>55612364I don't have the time or the knowledge of the gba/e-reader systems to actually do this, but for years now I've wanted to make a romhack where you scan codes generated by a separate game that is a berry farming sim to stock shops and/or send gifts to the player directly. Although the code/romhack thing is admittedly just an excuse to 1 learn how to do that and 2 make it so your crops in the farming sim aren't just going to waste in the digital ether when you sell them, instead helping you raise your pokemon, really I just want a fleshed out berry farming sim. The romhack would probably be emerald or frlg with added contests (since contests/pokeblocks are the main use for the majority of berries) with a story built around the berry farm thing. Like instead of the player having no dad like most pokemon games, the dad is the berry farmer you play in the farming sim and send gifts/letters to the kid periodically. Could be fun to play alongside a friend, raising your teams with berries from each other's farms so you could help or troll each other. Or it could be pointless shit.
