>>55622546It’s decent. Most of the stories boil down to “friendship is the strongest power” but the interactions are what make them interesting. For instance there’s an event where Piers, Roxie, and Ryuki have a contest to see which person can make the best music while teaming up with two other characters each. Piers with Sidney and Grimsley, Roxie with Plumeria and Iris, & Ryuki with Lyra and Cynthia. The last trio actually calls back to an older event. The best part besides seeing these characters interact is learning that characters like Flint, Volkner, and Oleanna are big music fans.
There are several game modes but most are simple. Anyone who tells you the game is P2W doesn’t know what that term is. Most content is manageable with F2P characters. Battles are hit or miss for a lot of people but I enjoy them. They recently added a photo mode which is probably the best thing they’ve added in the game’s history.
This game’s personal appeal will ultimately come down to how much you care about the human characters and if you care about building up a roster. It’s mostly low maintenance so you don’t spend more than ~15 minutes in the game per day. I’d suggest trying it out now if you’re interested as we’re in the middle of the 4.5 anniversary and that’s the best time to join.
