>>55621427I pick Bulbasaur in every game, or I pick the closest equivalent grass Pokemon, I call them pseudo-saurs. Oddish, Bellsprout, Hoppip, Petilil, Budew, etc, anything with Sleep Powder and/or Leech Seed usually does the job. In-game you can take anything down with Leech Seed if it gives you enough trouble.
I picked Charmander in Blue to see what all the whining was about and it was fine but I'm used to using shitmons and having a full team so it might have been a different experience.
I have a hard time picking Squirtle because there so many amazing water types, but I look forward to using it.
