Inteleon is just a bad design. 2D/3D nonsense has nothing to do with it. It’s still better than Samurott by a wide margin though.

Also that Inteleon sprite is dogshit and makes no sense.

The rabbit still looks like shit desu. And a lot of the 3d designs look bad bc they’re missing small details like hints of fur or hints of scales that would help them looks less like plastic toys

I think current designs still look good, they're just obviously made with a different aesthetic sense and naturally like any change that is going to fail to connect with a side of the fanbase.
I'm old enough to remember people saying "lol these look like shit now" all the way back in the shift from Gen 3 to 4 and to 5, after all.

Yeah I hate them. Only few dont look like shit. Even the bootlickers on the board get the "wait haha this is..shit" moments now. Normally theyd get the "it grew on me" delusion so they can immediately abandon any sort of critical thought but even those fags are turned off by the worst offenders like the gay duck, the stapler or giraffe raikou. More and more people look at the new gens and are like "am i fucking old or is this the worst dex weve had". For me its just funny to see how even piggi consumers that cant draw recognize this trend. This isnt just an artstyle thing anymore either and I suspect its intentional.
