>>55632581>Replace [Fearow] with NoctowlFalkner is a falconer and Fearow is the closest thing they have to a falcon in the Johto games. He still has Hoothoot for support, but Fearow should definitely be his ace.
>removing Bugsy's Scyther>Why? None of those mons learn Fury Cutter, Bugsy's signature move. Replace Ariados with Heracross.I think that the more juvenile designs of Ariados and especially Ledian are a better fit for Bugsy than Scyther or Heracross. They compliment each other nicely in battle, with Ledian learning both Reflect & Light Screen and Ariados being more geared towards offense. Not only does it make more thematic sense in my opinion but I also think it makes for a more enjoyable boss fight. Also, I'm basing my list off of HGSS where Bugsy's signature move is U-turn, which Ledian can learn.
>replacing Whitney's Miltank for Granbull>Again, why? Granbull is a downgrade. This is a very polarizing change and I understand if anyone disagrees with it, but Granbull has Intimidate and hits like a truck off of its base 120 Attack stat, so I wouldn't say it's as much as a downgrade as people say it is.
>Morty STILL doesn't have is MisdreavusQuit shilling the floating head, bro. I'll give Misdreavus to his gym trainers but Morty himself only uses the Gastly line.
>replacing Chuck's Primeape for Ursaring, a normal typePrimeape doesn't fit Chuck's shtick of being raw strength and nothing else. You could tell that in the originals they only gave him Primeape because they didn't want his team to overlap with Bruno's. A fast, frail sweeper doesn't belong on his team. Ursaring on the other hand is incredibly bulky and powerful, and he learns many Fighting-type moves so I don't think it's that big of a stretch to give one to Chuck.
>replacing Koga's Venemoth for fucking ArbokActually Crobat is Koga's ace in these games. You could say that Venomoth is a better fit than Arbok but I wanted to add some variety to his team.
As for Lance, Kingdra wouldn't fit him.
