Sure, gen 4 put the bar high with the literal manifestation of time and space but I don't really like the idea of box legendaries that are just some robot or ancestor of a common shitmon.

That's because the intent was ALWAYS to use finalised Arceus in their games, you drooling monkey. But the point of a beta is a rough test to make sure everything's working correctly or if things need to be tweaked, meaning it's not CRITICAL to stick a design in, if it's not ready or if the devs just want to make sure their shit is working. Hence a quadrupedal large blob becoming an 11' tall Llama thing in the finalised game. Are all your species as stupid as you, or are you a mentally-defective example of them?

I was there for red and blue and I fucking did not. After Gold and Silver the legendaries felt fake, and even Lugia wasn't supposed to be a Pokemon in the first place
