Soul. Your grab your first stage Pseudo shitmon and it becomes awesome lategame if you stick with it
Dragon is also the only type that resists all 3 starters, a good way to teach newfags about type matchups, coverage and teambuilding
Jusy stick a bunch of suitable Ice/Dragon/Fairy types early on like Swinub, Smoochum, Vanillite, Swirlix, Flabebe, Axew, first stage pseudos and it will work fine.
Fuck, if I ever make a romhack I'm definitely doing this

Despite my shitpost, I'm actually not against the sentiment. I'm one of those fags who likes to keep my early game pokemon, so getting a pseud to bond with right off the bat would be pretty great instead of having to grind in the last 10% of the game.
