Which Pokemon game do you not have strong feelings for? Not great, not bad, just plain inoffensive.

Firered and Leafgreen for sure.
I simply don't like or dislike them, I never really play them ever but can't really rule them out as options like I can with, say, BDSP. I have some opinion or another on literally every other pokemon game but FrLg are just meh. I can't hate but I'm thoroughly uninterested in them.

FRLG, did exactly what they had to do and not much more, ik people like the seviis but I found them unremarkable.
I'll have fun with them if I boot them up and I'd never tell someone to avoid them but half the time I forget they exist.
If they updated the Kanto routes to have the Johto Pokemon from GS postgame I'd probably like them more.

Sun and Moon and especially UsUm are genuinely great games in most aspects except they're just fucking TERRIBLE for replays. Which is why I'm assuming they're so rarely discussed, most people play through other pokemon games.

if they stuck the landing with the artstyle I'd be inclined to agree. It could have been a simple, "back-to-basics" style game that would have disappointed people but ultimately been fine.
But things like affection and forced xp share kind of detract from that, and while places like Floaroma Meadow look good, shit like Route 215 is horribly rushed and it definitely puts it more in the red zone for me.

XY was offensive when it released, I abhor megas and the game looked like garbage even when it first came out. These days I appreciate what it did, the region is cool and it feels more polished than oras, though I prefer the latter any day of the week. Still hate megas but can't pin that on one game, I just blame it for kickstarting the battle gimmick thing now.
