>>55651431I really wish they expanded upon this type of mark. The massive amount of personality marks prove that they could add in a ton more in addition to ribbons at this point.
Since it seems like they do not care at all about movesets anymore, it's time to retire the origin mark and move it/copy it here. Basically just have a mark while grants the title 'the [region] Native' if a Pokemon was obtained in it. I'm not sure if there is any other way to have additional criteria to get this mark but maybe they avoid this since that means every Pokemon can get at least one mark easily or will inherently have it. Additionally, there should be more marks for completing region specific tasks. I have been saying this since gen 8 but they should have a ribbon/mark for completing X amounts of raids with one Pokemon. They realized this in gen 9 and had specific marks added in, it seems.
Others additions I would recommend are de-compressing the two legacy Battle Tower/Contest ribbons. They keep track of which ones you have obtained, so expanding them again is theoretically possible. Also, not sure if the Shiny Leaf status is tracked through gens, but they should have given a mark/ribbon for that as well if it is.
The encounter specific marks (curry, fishing and alpha Pokemon) should have had an analog in Scarlet and Violet but there are no special ways to actually encounter Pokemon outside of wild encounters or raids.
Lastly, the 'memories' part of a Pokemon's data could easily fit into giving marks where if a Pokemon has a specific significant memory outside of your own OT (to incentivize trading/transferring more), it could get a mark. In Scarlet and Violet, the memories mechanics was just randomly removed despite the data still existing for it.
