>>55657981It is a horrible attitude to have, and it's a horrible quote to hear as a fan who was looking forward to the games. It goes to show how at that point, it was no longer about making something they were passionate about for people to enjoy, it was about making a product to sell, and they cut effort in proportion to expected fiscal performance.
You could say they should have stepped away from development at the point the attitude began to shift, but I bet there's some contractual fuckery keeping each and every party involved anchored to a money cow that they all hate now.
